Internships:

The Salam Institute offers part-time Summer, Fall and Spring internships which provide students with opportunities to learn about and work within the field of Islamic peace and conflict resolution. As a small non-profit, the Salam Institute allows interns to gain practical experience and participate in a variety of activities including grant and report writing, website development, public outreach, report writing, and conducting research.

Desired Qualifications:

• Applicant should have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Applicant should be detail oriented and organized
• Applicant should be able to manage a variety of activities
• Applicant should be able to effectively meet deadlines
• Applicant should have strong communication skills
• Applicant should have a peace and conflict resolution background
• Applicant should have strong writing and editing skills
